If you’re going on a solo holiday or even if you’re not, here are some products that can help
Selfie stick
I was on my own, so had no one to take pictures of me so I brought the selfie stick from tiktok shop, which is also a tripod, this was a game changer. Even if you’re going as a couple, family or group, you can use the tripod element to get pictures of yourselves.

Waterproof phone case and waterproof bag
I also brought with me the water proof phone case and dry bag, again because I was on my own, I did not want to leave my mobile, purse and keys on the beach whilst I went in the sea, this meant I did not have to worry about that. Taller Tripod
I also brought another tripod with me, a longer extendable one because the selfie stick only goes to about 4.5ft and I’m 5ft3 and so I wanted better, taller and more flattering angles, which I find I get from a higher up angle. This is the one I used mostly at night, to get pictures of my glam looks before dinner. It is collapsible and can fit into a backpack but not quite a handbag. Back brush for applying lotions
I also brought my back brush for applying lotions, again because I was on my own, I didn’t have anyone to apply sun cream or after sun on my back, so this solves that matter. The one I have was gifted to me but you can get these on Amazon as well, and I actually found a collapsible one on Amazon, which would be perfect for when you’re out exploring or at the beach and need to reapply sun cream because it can collapse and fit in your handbag, which mine does not, so I’ll get this one for my next solo holiday. https://amzn.to/4bEjcvs
Door stops for room safety
I also brought a couple of door stops wedges, to make me feel safe in my room at night, to ensure no one could enter whilst I slept. Unfortunately this did back fire for me, because the doors didn’t have a big enough gap underneath. So instead, I put a chair in front of the door, so that if someone opened the door, it would make a loud noise and either scare them off or wake me up. (You could even put a glass on the chair so if the chair moved it would smash and wake you up, just be careful with housekeeping though) This is probably better actually because if there was a fire, no one from the outside would be able to get in my room with the door stops.
